Dr. Patricia Debly is a retired Associate Professor from Brock University, where she taught music history for 30 years. As a musicologist, her research has focused on eighteenth-century German and Italian opera, and she has published articles on the Italian operas of Joseph Haydn. Over nearly 40 years, Dr. Debly has presented papers at numerous conferences for music and eighteenth-century academic societies across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. She is also committed to sharing her expertise with non-musicians, ensuring that her lectures are accessible to all, regardless of their ability to read music or their technical background.
