“The Emotional & Visual Dimensions of Music”
On September 21 we welcome Dr. Patricia Debly, a retired Associate Professor from Brock University, where she taught music history for 30 years. As a musicologist, her research has focused on eighteenth-century German and Italian opera, and she has published articles on the Italian operas of Joseph Haydn. Over nearly 40 years, Dr. Debly has presented papers at conferences for music and eighteenth-century academic societies across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
